 This
is a nifty little shop right in the middle of Port Discovery. It is
nearly impossible to miss, as it has a giant "wind machine" perpetually
spinning on top of it. The wind machine (which is actually powered
electrically and not by the wind) looks sort of like a big hand mixer,
with pieces that spin independently of the main rotor. It is just eye
candy, but it does make a nice centerpiece for Port Discovery.
Inside, the store is cramped but has some very cool stuff. The merchandise
is heavily StormRider themed, and in addition to the usual apparel items
there are items like model planes and futuristic-looking clocks.
In the USA we have a chain of shops called the Discovery Channel Store, and Discovery Gifts sort of reminds me of
that (not surprising given the similarities of the two names). |
